Open circuit CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) delivery system for compact,“low flow” non-invasive ventilation.
Ideal for treatment of respiratory-impaired patient suffering from a range of obstructive pulmonary diseases.
Simple, cost-effective alternative to invasive ventilation and possible intensive care admissions.
Large size 5 adult mask with comfortable head harness.
While there's a luer port located on the device to attach a pressure gauge, the accuracy of the CPAP level at the fixed-flow settings noted on the device generally makes the use of a gauge unnecessary.
Ambient air intake port and location of in-line oxygen hose are designed to eliminate the possibility of accidental occlusion, avoiding the risk of barotrauma due to the patient or rescuer inadvertently blocking the port.
Small, lightweight and simple to use.
Wide CPAP range controlled by oxygen flow rate.
Low oxygen consumption.
For intra hospital transport and ward use.
Nebuliser treatments can be provided “in line” with the nebuliser positioned between face mask and CPAP unit.
Used by Queensland Ambulance Service - see demonstration video.
